OUR APPROACH

A professional and consultative approach to selling your

business will consider the following high-level stages.

Contacting Buyers

During our comprehensive research process, we profile a wide range of potential buyers, utilising our industry contacts, specialist databases and unique market intelligence. A target list of potential acquirers will then be created and filtered to a shortlist of the very best strategic acquirers.  As with all stages, we do this in partnership with you, and you have full oversight and approval of whom we contact, and when.

Once your research list is approved, We will make an initial approach to these strategic potential acquirers on a confidential basis, this does not disclose the name of your company or using details that could identify you.  On your behalf, we develop an initial anonymous proposal letter, backed by a robust Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), to keep your potential sale process confidential. This means only genuinely interested parties will ever discover you are for sale – and you will have full control over who receives information about your business.  Only once our NDA has been signed, will the name and the in-depth Confidential Information Memorandum be distributed.

After we have further qualified the potential acquirers we will invite them to a meeting with you. This is an exciting phase, where we will speak directly to potential acquirers, each in competition to purchase your company.  Whilst this can appear daunting we will chair and manage every meeting.
